Description
WEICON Silicone Grease is highly adhesive, transparent and very compatible with plastics. Owing to its NSF H1 registration, it is suitable as a lubricant for valves, fittings and seals in sensitive areas. The grease complies with the Guideline for Hygienic Assessment of Organic Materials in Contact with Drinking Water (KTW guideline) by the German Federal Environment Agency. It can be used in the food and beverage industry, in sanitary and heating construction, in the pharmaceutical industry as well as in sealing technology. WEICON Silicone Grease is safety-tested by the German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) – cf. leaflet 034-1 “List of non-metallic materials for use in oxygen” (DGUV information 213-075) of BG RCI. The grease is especially material-friendly, odourless and tasteless and has a temperature resistance of -50 °C to +200 °C. WEICON Silicone Grease is suitable for the lubrication of plastic parts, rubber parts and seals, valves, fittings and gaskets, for devices and systems and as an assembly aid for O-rings.
